Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD)
Preserving central vision
Age-related macular degeneration affects the macula, the part of the retina responsible for detailed central vision.
Treatment depends on the type and stage of AMD.
For patients with neovascular ("wet") AMD, regular intravitreal injections can stabilise the condition and often improve vision. Patients with early or "dry" AMD benefit from careful monitoring, lifestyle advice and management of risk factors to reduce the likelihood of progression.

Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSCR)
